GS Pav is a cataclysmic variable star located in the constellation Pavo. It is a close binary system in which a normal star transfers mass to a white dwarf, forming an accretion disk. GS Pav shows brightness variations typical of nova-like stars and may exhibit eclipses, making it valuable for studying the system’s structure.
